Since the beginning of mankind, we have attempted to control the passage of time. We began by placing a stick in the ground to mark the movement of the sun thus marking the time of day. This primitive timepiece led to the sundial. It was our earlier belief that by tracking the passage of time we could in some way learn to harness it. To have control or dominion over time!

At Discovery International we know the obvious; we can't control nor manage time. What we can do is to manage our activities within the time allotted us each day. This means that we have to be very careful of those activities we consciously choose to do. Doing the right ones leads to success. Doing the wrong ones increases our stress, decreases our effectiveness and ends in frustration and a sense of being out of control!

We have selected the sundial as our logo because it is about time. And we are about time! Yes the sundial is very simplistic, however it is one of the most reliable timepieces available.
